This story was okay. It was a feel good story except the heroines hang ups were so not fun to read. I don't remember being that way at 28 years old. The chemistry was like a warm comfortable blanket. I got no sense of true passion. Not all love stories have to be so intense that a fire could start but some more intensity would have been nice. I liked how it wrapped up though it seemed rushed. It started to get better towards the end once she realized that He was not her ex-fiancé. So good try but just okay with no real HEAT.Product details

Café Love edition by Sara Hooper Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I did not buy this book so my review is based off the sample (which i feel is suppose to entice you to buy the book)
i cant buy the book simply because im not rooting for the main character i dont think she deserves a good love, why
1) whats wrong with liking oatmeal for breakfast, honestly jam and bacon sounds gross.
2) whats wrong with being a podiatrist or gynocologist, those are well paid and respectable careers, you flip food on a fryer.
3) why is she waiting to get fired, why has she not started looking around for other possible employment opportunities at other restaurants. She wants to stay at the upscale snobby restraunt.
I think she seems like an snobby beotch. And if i dont like the main character i cant buy the book. I have to want both parties to win.
PLOT Lydia Benson is a busy head chef at a restaurant. Scott Marotta is a fellow workaholic doctor. They eat at the same café morning after morning, never speaking until one day he asks to sit at her table.
PROS It was very funny, romantic, witty, and sweet. I loved Scott. It's ridiculously well written. I love the author's writing style.
CONS The author has a tendency to summarize in places. Weeks, months, years pass by in the span of a few sentences. Sometimes this is okay, but I felt it happened too often in this story.
4.5 - 5 STARS I didn't notice until I was done that the author didn't use any chapters. Odd, but it didn't impede my enjoyment of the book. I enjoyed Café Love very much. It starts a little slow, but it is definitely worth reading.
This was a good book, liked the characters and the story line was good wasn't rushed. Would recommend to a friend.
